Load dishware so that the water can drain off freely.
Leave the appliance door (on appliances without automatic door opening) closed for at least 15 minutes. This will allow the residual moisture to evaporate uniformly.
First unload the lower basket, then the upper basket, and finally the cutlery tray (depending on the model). This will prevent water drops from the upper basket and cutlery tray from falling onto the dishware in the lower basket.
Select the Extra dry function (depending on the model).
On G 1000–G 2000 series dishwashers, it is necessary to select the 2 in 1 or 3 in 1 button as appropriate when using multi-purpose detergents. This has an impact on drying results.
From the G 5000 series onward, the dishwasher automatically detects if multi-purpose detergents were used.
Fill with dishwasher salt, irrespective of the hardness of the water supply, and set a higher water hardness in the water softener.
Ensure that the selected program includes a drying cycle. If the drying results are unsatisfactory, use other programs.
