The faucet is not open.
Turn on the faucet.
The Inlet/drain indicator light on the dishwasher is flashing on and off. There may be water in the wash cabinet. A fault occurred while the water was being supplied/drained.
Turn on the faucet.
Clean the inlet filter:
Turn off the dishwasher.
Disconnect the dishwasher’s electrical plug.
Close the faucet.
Unscrew the water intake valve.
Remove the seal from the screw connection.
Using combination or needle-nose pliers, take hold of the plastic filter bar and remove the plastic filter.
Rinse the plastic filter under running water.
Re-insert the plastic filter and the seal into the screw connection of the water intake valve. Ensure that the plastic filter and the seal are seated correctly.
Remove any kinks or loops from the water inlet hose.
Monitor these points for a while afterward, as the plastic may weaken and the material may tear.
In the event of any damage, the water inlet hose must be replaced.

Contact the facility manager or a plumber.
Clean the filter combination as follows:
Turn off the dishwasher.
Turn the handle counterclockwise to release the filter combination (1).
Remove the filter combination (2).
Remove any coarse soiling.
Rinse the filter thoroughly under running water.
Use a soft cleaning brush to remove soiling.
To clean the insides of the filter, the flap must be opened:
Press the recessed grips together in the direction of the arrows (1).
Open the filter flap (2).
Rinse all the parts under running water.
Then close the flap so that the catch engages.
Reinstall the filter combination so that it lies flat in the base of the wash chamber.
Then turn the handle clockwise until both arrows point toward each other. This will lock the filter combination in place.
A foreign object (such as a cherry pit or a small shard of glass) could be blocking the drain pump and the non-return valve.
Clean the drain pump and the non-return valve as follows:
Turn off the dishwasher.
Disconnect the electrical plug.
Remove the filter combination from the wash cabinet (see above).
Scoop the water out of the wash cabinet using a small container.
Press the catch for the non-return valve inward (1).
Pull the non-return valve up and out (2).
Rinse the non-return valve well under running water.
Remove any foreign objects from the non-return valve.
The drain pump is situated under the non-return valve (arrow).
Remove any foreign objects from the drain pump. Check the drain pump impeller by manually turning it. You will feel a little resistance when you turn the impeller.
Carefully reinstall the non-return valve.
Remove any kinks or loops from the drain hose.
Monitor these points for a while afterward, as the plastic may weaken and the material may tear.
In the event of any damage, the water inlet hose must be replaced.

Check the drain hose for blockages. Try to remove the blockage.
Take care to ensure that the drain hose can move freely and is not too taut.
If the fault persists, please contact Miele Service or book a repair appointment online.
Turn off the faucet and disconnect the dishwasher from the power supply (the drain pump will not stop running until this is done).
You can remove the dishware from the dishwasher as normal.
