Water not pumped away (G 1xxx–G 6xxx)

The dishwasher does not pump the water away after the rinse. The water remains in the wash cabinet (G 1xxx–G 6xxx).

Coarse particles must not enter the circulation system.

Clean the filter combination as follows:

  • Rinse the filter under running water.

  • Press the recessed grips together in the direction of the arrows (1). Keep the recessed grips held and open the filter flap (2).

  • Then close the flap on the inside of the filter so that the catch fully engages.

  • Reinstall the filter combination so that it lies flat in the base of the wash cabinet.

  • Turn the handle of the filter combination clockwise until both arrows point toward each other.

The non-return valve is incorrectly positioned in the dishwasher.

Remove the non-return valve. Proceed as follows:

The drain hose is kinked.

If the drain hose is damaged, it must be replaced. Contact Miele Service about this.

Remove any kinks or loops from the drain hose.

Monitor any points where kinks were present for a while afterwards, as the plastic may tear.

The drain hose or the on-site drain is blocked. Frequent use can result in deposits in the drain hose.

Check the hose for blockages and try to remove them.

Additionally, clean the on-site drain and the siphon.

If the fault persists, please contact us or book a repair appointment online.
