The water hardness has not been set yet.
Your local water authority/municipal utility will provide information about the hardness of your water. Alternatively, you can determine the water hardness using the test strips provided with the descaling tablets.
Set the water hardness.
Switch the steam ironing system off.
Press and hold the (Descale) button and at the same time press the On/Off switch .
When the indicator light (Descale) is yellow, release the (Descale) button.
The indicator light (Water container empty) flashes.
Compare the flashing rhythm with the water hardness table in the operating instructions.
To increase the set water hardness, press the (Descale) button. Each press of the button switches one level higher. When the highest value is reached, the setting starts again at level 1.
The indicator light (Water container empty) flashes according to the setting you select.
Press the On/Off switch to exit the setting.
