Bubbling, gurgling, splashing
A bubbling, gurgling, or splashing noise can be heard when the refrigerant circulates through the pipes.

Hissing noises occur when refrigerant is being injected into the cooling circuit.

Clicking
Clicking sounds occur whenever the thermostat switches the motor on or off.

Whirring or humming sounds are caused by the fan or occur when the automatic door opener is opening or closing the appliance door.

Cracking sounds are caused by material expanding in the refrigeration appliance/wine unit.

Rattling
Rattling sounds can always be heard when valves or flaps are active.

Buzzing (refrigeration appliances with water container)
In refrigeration appliances with a water container, buzzing sounds are audible when water is pumped out of the water container.

Slurping (refrigeration appliances with soft-close mechanism)
On refrigeration appliances/wine units with soft-close mechanism, slurping sounds are audible whenever the appliance door with soft-close mechanism is being opened or closed.

Various operational noises
The refrigeration appliance/wine unit is producing various noises during operation.
If the cooling performance is low, the refrigeration appliance/wine unit will conserve energy but operate for longer. The volume will be lower.
Food will be chilled faster if the cooling performance is high. The volume will be higher.
Please bear in mind that a certain amount of noise is unavoidable (from the compressor and the refrigerant circulating through the cooling circuit).
