Steam/water escaping from door

Steam or water is escaping from the door of the steam oven/combi-steam oven.

The door seal is not seated correctly.

Check that the door seal is installed correctly.

Press in the door seal all the way round the door to make sure the door seal is installed evenly.

The safety valve (on the steam pressure oven) and the door seal are damaged or have become porous.

Steam pressure ovens:

  • The door seal and the safety valve are made from high-quality silicone rubber. Silicone rubber is a natural material that undergoes a natural aging process.
