Lint filters are soiled.
Clean the lint filters.
Fault F66 appears in the tumble dryer display.
Clean the lint filters.
Carefully vacuum up any visible lint or soiling.
To remove the plinth filter, press the round, indented area on the heat exchanger access panel to open it; see Fig. 1.
Pull the plinth filter out by the handle; see Fig. 2.
Pull the handle out of the plinth filter; see Fig. 3.
Clean the plinth filter thoroughly under running water.
Squeeze the water thoroughly out of the plinth filter.
The plinth filter must not be reinserted while it is dripping wet. This can cause a fault.
Use a damp cloth to remove any lint from the handle.
Insert the plinth filter back on the handle, making sure it is the correct way round; see Fig. 3.
First insert the handle with the plinth filter attached over the two guide pins:
The word Miele on the handle must be the correct way up.
Push the plinth filter in completely.
The act of pushing in the plinth filter will also push in the right-hand guide pin.
Close the heat exchanger access panel.
The tumble dryer can only be operated with the plinth filter installed correctly and the heat exchanger access panel closed. The access panel must be closed correctly to ensure that water cannot leak from the condenser system and to ensure that the tumble dryer functions efficiently.
Take out some of the laundry.
Start the process again.
Remove objects that are obstructing the ventilation grille under the door.
When drying, open a door or window to ensure sufficient ventilation.
Wash the plinth filter on its own in the washing machine without any detergent at a max. temperature of 105°F (40°C) at a spin speed of 600 rpm.
Replace the plinth filter.
