PLW 86 model series – setting new standards

The modular system for loading the PLW 86 saves a lot of space and offers you maximum flexibility. It has space for up to 5 load carriers and 9 levels and modules. Combinations with different nozzles and other accessories are possible. There are thousands of combinations available to meet your specific laboratory glassware reprocessing requirements. The SimpleLoad system ensures flexible, fast and easy loading.

The PLW 86 laboratory washer is equipped with a 2-section drying unit. This ensures optimum drying results. The integrated H14 HEPA filter also provides top-level safety. It is located directly at the entrance to the chamber so as to reliably remove particles released upstream by the fan and the heater elements.

The 7" color touch display provides an intuitive user interface and simple process monitoring. The display is flush-fit in the machine front. This makes it easy and safe to clean. Pre-installed programs that can be modified to suit individual needs allow you to customize your solution. There are 200 program memory slots available.

Convenient: changing chamber lighting colors indicate the program phase status. The multi-color LED chamber lighting (white, green, red) facilitates visual monitoring of the reprocessing process. This means that you can see everything from a distance by looking at the color of the chamber lighting.

An optimized chamber design with pitched surfaces and cove corners ensures that ultimate quality and hygiene standards are met. The heater elements are located outside the wash cabinet. The chambers are produced in a high-precision robotic laser welding system using high-quality stainless steel (1.4404/316L).

The PLW 86 is equipped with a 2-component filter consisting of coarse and fine filters. The fine filter with 0.2 mm mesh ensures reliable removal of even the smallest particles. The effort involved in cleaning the filters is also reduced thanks to the self-cleaning effect during drainage.

Process monitoring and a residue-free final rinse are made possible by the integrated conductivity sensor. The spray arm speed is monitored at all times for reproducible cleaning results. The spray arms feature an optimised nozzle design.

Underneath the machine, there is an option to configure the process chemicals being used (even with the 35 7/16" (900 mm) wide machine). There is space for up to 4 x 10 liters. The integrated dispensing drawer makes it easy to use. The machine has 2 dispensing pumps. This can be extended to a maximum of 6 dispensing pumps. The built-in oval wheel meter reliably monitors dispensing activity.
