Zero or multiple push notifications received

You are receiving zero or multiple push notifications on your smartphone/tablet. It is hard to say why the sending of push notifications is not working as expected without viewing the device.

Push notifications for the Miele app have been deactivated.

Check whether you have provided general consent for push notifications from the Miele app.

  • On Apple devices: Go to Settings > Notifications > Miele app on your smartphone and activate the Allow notifications setting.

  • On Android devices: Go to Settings > Notifications > Miele app on your smartphone and activate the Permit notifications setting.

You should now start to receive push notifications as normal again.

Notifications in the Miele app have been deactivated

In the Miele app settings, check whether you have activated push notifications by following these steps in the Miele app:

In the Miele app, select the Start tab and then select the device on which you would like to receive push notifications.

Open the settings for the device by tapping the cog wheel.

Under Notifications, select the Status or Fault option.

If both options have already been activated, deselect the options and reactivate them. Perform this action a second time.

You should now start to receive push notifications as normal again.

Outdated password

The password may be outdated. Change your password in the Miele app or request a new password via the Forgot password function in the Miele app.

Log out of the Miele app.

Delete all data/clear the cache for the Miele app.

Uninstall the Miele app.

Download the Miele app again and log in.

Accept all the prompts that appear in the Miele app.
