Booster level turned off early

The Booster level has automatically turned off early (KM 6080 LPT, KM 6090, KM 6090 LT, KM 6092, KM 6093, KM 6362-1, KM 6363-1, KM 6364-1). Applies to all cooktops with rotary controls.

Overheating protection has been triggered. The cooktop heating switches off automatically before it can overheat.

The overheating protection can be triggered in the following situations:
– The cookware being heated is empty.
– Fat or oil is being heated on a high power level.
– The fan is being blocked by objects in a drawer below the cooktop, or by dust or similar substances.

Turn the knob for the affected cooking zones to 0.

Allow the cooking zones to cool down sufficiently before switching them back on.

Check whether the fan is being blocked by objects in a drawer below the cooktop, or by dust or similar substances, and remove the blockage accordingly.

The overheating protection is triggered again even though the cause has been eliminated.

If the fault persists, please contact us or book a repair appointment online.
